Acoustics: Outstanding acoustics and superior versatility are combined in the technology of the Littmann Cardiology III stethoscope. Featured is both an adult and pediatric-sided chestpiece, each incorporated with a tunable diaphragm. This innovative design allows you to use both sides of the stethoscope for monitoring high and low frequency sounds. The large side can be used for auscultating adult patients while the small side is especially useful with pediatric or thin patients. Whichever side you use, light contact with the skin allows you to hear low-frequency sounds and application of firm pressure allows you to hear high-frequency sounds without having to turn over the chestpiece.
Two-tubes-in-one design: The Littmann Cardiology III tubing has been designed for acoustical excellence. Two tubes are incorporated into a single-tube design to eliminate noise artifact from tubes rubbing together.
Comfort: To provide your patients with extra comfort, each chestpiece side features a non-chill rim and diaphragm assembly. Also included are Littmann "Soft-Sealing" Eartips which are designed to assure maximum comfort and excellent acoustic seal in the ear canal. An extra pair of small soft-sealing and firm eartips are provided to assure a personal fit.
Durability: For long lasting performance and proper fit, the headset assembly is permanently set at an anatomically correct angle. This minimizes air leaks and prevents the headset from loosening over time. The lightweight polished alloy eartubes are durable and will not chip or corrode. Internal adjustable double-leaf springs are designed to always provide proper eartube tension. The tubing is not made of natural rubber latex or dry natural rubber, but is constructed of a specially formulated polyvinyl chloride that resists chemical breakdown.
Warranty: The Cardiology III stethoscope is backed by a five year warranty. After the warranty period, lifetime service and refurbishment is available. The warranty is provided by 3M Health Care.
Colors Available: Cardiology III stethoscopes are available in the following tubing colors: Black, Burgundy, Navy Blue and Hunter Green.

Your Littmann stethoscope is designed to provide years of reliable service. Routinely cleaning your stethoscope will ensure optimal acoustic performance.
- Do not immerse your stethoscope in any liquid or subject it to any sterilization process. If disinfection is required, the stethoscope may be wiped with a 70% isopropyl alcohol solution
- Keep your stethoscope away from extreme heat, cold, solvents and oils
- Eartips may be removed from the eartubes for thorough cleaning
